It is a pleasure to inform you that the report on the results of the Canadian Computed Tomography (CT) Survey including the national Diagnostic Reference Levels for CT imaging examinations is now published on the Government of Canada's website. The report can be accessed by clicking here.
We feel the report is a big step forward in helping identify opportunities to reduce patient exposures in CT and provides a large amount of information in support of that goal. The successful collection of such a large volume of data is due to the highly collaborative nature in which the survey was conducted. We very much appreciate the time and effort put forward by our provincial, territorial and professional collaborators. We have begun, and will continue with secondary analysis of survey data this year. As we move forward, we welcome any suggestions/collaboration and hope to continue to work closely with everyone.
