Today I did part 1 of an acceptance test for a SPECT/CT system in the Nuclear Medicine Department. The machine was installed over the weekend. We did an initial inspection to make sure all parts of the hardware work, intrinsic uniformity (30 MCts Tc-99m point source), intrinsic spatial resolution and Linearity (Tc-99m point source and NEMA slit phantom), Energy Resolution (Tc-99m point source), count rate performance (Tc-99m point source), system uniformity for LEUHR and LEHiSens (10 MCts Co-57 sheet source), system sensitivity for LEUHR and LEHiSens (1 mCi in flask), system Spatial Resolution for LEUHR and LEHiSens (Tc-99m line source in 10 cm air and scatter), hole Alignment for LEUHR and LEHiSens (Tc-99m point source), SPECT performance (Tc-99m SPECT Phantom), video display and tested system Interlocks!
