The COMP Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) provides an opportunity for COMP members to network and keep abreast of the research and clinical activities of the medical physics community in Canada. In 2019, we are increasing the opportunities to share knowledge on topics of common interest by introducing new program elements.

COMP members are invited to submit abstracts for the following:

NEW: Workshops – Workshops will be 90 minutes in duration and are intended to be both informative and interactive.
NEW: Science. Spoken. Succinctly (S3) – S3 is a research communication competition in which participants prepare a three-minute presentation aimed at sharing the significance of their science in a compelling and understandable manner. Limited to one slide and only three minutes, this competition will be judged by a panel of locals who range from high school teachers to news anchors.

Young Investigator Symposium (YIS) - Presenting authors for this prestigious symposium must be COMP student members in good standing.
General Proffered Papers (Oral Presentation) - Brief oral presentations (8 min plus 2 min for questions) given during moderated scientific session.
General Proffered Papers (Poster Presentation) - 4 x 4 hardcopy poster display.
